ARTIST KOJI ARAI AND MASAKI KONDO COLLABORATING FOR THE ATAMI ART EXPO 2018

For the Atami Art EXPO 2018 the artist and designer behind the brand, Eatable of Many Orders Koji Arai, together with the wood artist Masaki Kondo, will open the doors of the EOMO atelier from the 26th of October to the 4th of November.

The two artists collaborated already in the past for the designing of the store and atelier of EOMO in Atami. Koji Arai, the designer of Eatable of Many Orders made the concept of interior design. Masaki Kondo, helped to realize Koji’s concept with the interiors made by him.

Here below a preview of the upcoming design made by the two artist that will be presented during the Atami Art Expo.

About the artist:

Koji Arai, born in Tokyo in 1975, after his studies at the Tama Art University School of Architecture in Tokyo moved to Antwerp where he graduated in 2006 at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts. Before returning to his homeland, a solo exhibition “Last Supper” was held at MoMu Gallery Museum in Antwerp and successively at the 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art, Kanazawa.

About Eatable of Many orders brand:

Koji and Yoko Arai started own brand in Atami, Japan in 2007. They aim to create an environment that evokes consciousness about the materials used, the process of production, with a result of people becoming more sensitive about the act of wearing fashion. Every collection is based on a food related theme, research its historical background, collect inspiration sources, pursue material, and integrate the rituals into the design.
