IT’S NO WONDER WE LOVE HARU HARU WONDER

In an age where we have copious amounts of skin care products readily available to the everyday consumer, it might be somewhat of a daunting task to find the right products, whether a beginner in the world of skincare or a veteran with an already existing routine. From toners to moisturizers to acids and serums, it can leave anybody feeling lost and wanting to give up early on but never fear, for I have a treat for you.
Full disclosure, I’m in no way a licensed esthetician or dermatologist, I speak solely from my own experience on what works for me and my skin type. I recommend speaking to a licensed esthetician or dermatologist in advance for a consultation to better understand your skin type before using any skin care product. I implore you to always patch test before fully applying the product to the skin.
As someone that is so meticulous when it comes to their skincare routine, from washing their face in the morning to religiously applying generous amounts of sunscreen before leaving the house, I may know a thing or two about face products that can have positive effects on your face, changing up your skincare routine for the better. Haru Haru Wonder is a Korean skincare brand that offers vegan skincare products to the everyday consumer. Established in 2019, Haru Haru Wonder has been around for a short period of time but don’t be fooled, they’vr been making splashes as one of the top skin care companies offering cruelty-free products to the public. Not only have I had the pleasure of reviewing the products presented to me, but I’ve also included them in my skincare routine, and I’m obsessed.
The first step in a skincare routine is to cleanse the skin with a good face cleanser so first up is the Black Rice Moisture 5.5 Soft Cleansing Gel is exactly what the name implies, it’s SOFT. The consistency is fantastic, it lathers so well with very little gel squeezed unto my hands; the rule of thumb is to cleanse in the morning, unless you cleansed the night before, and to wash your face at night. Haru Haru’s mission when it comes to the Black Rice Cleansing Gel is to provide a product with “[a] formula for healthy pH,” and I gotta say, after a couple of washes throughout the week, I feel my skin looking brighter, feeling smoother, and looking oh so sweet.
The Black Rice Bakuchiol Eye Cream contains a plant-derived alternative to retinol, it helps with fighting wrinkles and brightening dark circles. With black rice in the formula, a rich antioxidant, it has a light finish and instantly dries upon use and I have to say, I’ve noticed a slight difference since I started using it and it’s only been a week. It can be applied in the morning and evening, very little application is needed, and softly massaging onto the eye area is recommended.
Ever feel like your skin ends up too dry after long periods throughout the day? The Black Bamboo Mist offers a bit of refreshment with a spritz to the skin, and instant hydration with a soft glow, especially for those with sensitive and/or dehydrated skin. I used this mist throughout the day and given that we’re still experiencing major heat this summer, spritzing the Black Bamboo Mist every few hours to hydrate my skin has been nothing short of a miracle. I felt my skin absorbing the mist very well while offering a natural glow, I was stunned to say the least.
Lastly but surely not least, the Black Rice Hyaluronic Toner is one of those toners where you use it once and are instantly hooked; the consistency is so viscous, nice and thick, and spreads so smoothly non your skin. I usually use a cotton pad when applying my toner and let me tell you, I feel my skin completely nourished as a result and it only takes one application and very little to use on your skin, not to mention this toner already comes with Hyaluronic Acid included in the formula, helping reduce skin wrinkles and fine lines, a definite win for sure!
To sum up my personal opinion on what I think about the products provided to the This Bitch team, I was thoroughly impressed with Haru Haru Wonder. A brand with a strong mission statement, products that offer fantastic ingredients with a solid formula for many different skin types, and price tags that won’t break the bank? Give Haru Haru Wonder a try in your day-to-day or nighttime routine for a refreshing and nourishing look and feel. I will be making my way to their site to place an order for their many other products, excitement is an understatement of how I feel reviewing the rest of their products!
