‘PSYCHO HEART ‘ BY DRUE DEMILO

Drue de Milo is a dreamy pop angel based in New York and Los Angeles. Like the Venus de Milo before her, she and every sound she makes are full of beauty, desire and love. With an ethereal yet relatable vibe, Drue weaves poetic verses and catchy hooks over cinematic pop beats, like she’s singing the soundtrack to the best night of your life. The former ballet dancer, and New York native, has been on stage since she was 8 years old.

Innately inspired, Drue wrote songs between dance rehearsals, touring, and occasional walks down the NYFW runway. The inevitable followed. She performed as the lead singer with various bands on on the east and west coast, headlining at classic venues including The Viper Room, SOBs, The Box, The Study, Arlene’s Grocery — and then went solo. Drue’s debut EP, aptly titled “something beautiful” is set to release summer 2019.

In the meantime, “pyscho heart” and its accompanying music video, as well as “i wanna be ur girlfriend,” both produced by Asaf Rodeh (Ariana Grande, Zayn, Charlie Puth), are available everywhere now.

Drue’s recent video Pyscho Heart premiered on Valentine’s Day with Nakid Magazine. Drue de Milo teamed up with Mynxii White in LA to shoot a music video about the craziness and beauty of being in psycho in love. The song, originally by rapper nobigdyl and recorded as a duet, was re imagined by Drue as a dreamy pop solo when she heard it as more of an internal battle about the light and dark forces of desire – the visuals in the video capture how they coexist, tapping into the imagery of Adam and Eve, and the Venus de Milo. Styled by Chaine Leyendecker, the video features clothes by Morgane le Fay, Agent Provocateur, and Alice McCall adding to the high fashion ethereal vibe of the 2 locations.
